Limited to 11 guests
The Reset is a seven day retreat in Nosara, Costa Rica designed for anyone who has been running on empty for too long. If you have been craving space to breathe, to slow down, to remember what your body feels like when it isn't carrying everything - this is for you. With just 11 guests, The Reset is designed to feel intimate, personal and completely held.
Set against the backdrop of one of the world's five Blue Zones, nestled in the lush jungle of Guiones Beach, each day is thoughtfully crafted to gently unwind what stress and busyness have accumulated, and to rebuild something more sustainable in its place.
Morning opens with meditation followed by an hour and a half of yoga - strong, intentional and deeply mindful, designed for longevity and the health of your body over a lifetime. Personal hands-on assists make each class feel like a mini retreat within the retreat. You will leave the mat feeling both worked and restored.
Then breakfast at Copal, unhurried and nourishing, before the morning opens into whatever calls you. Guiones Beach is one of the best surf beaches in the world and one of the most beginner friendly - surf lessons are available throughout the week for all levels. Or explore, wander, rest. January in Nosara is magic and there is no wrong way to spend a morning here.
Lunch at Copal, then the afternoon practice. Each afternoon alternates between Yoga Nidra and Integrated Breathwork, two of the most powerful tools available for deep restoration and lasting change.
As the day softens, the beach calls again. Three evenings are shared together as a group: a welcome dinner, a midweek pasta night at Copal, and a farewell dinner at La Luna. The rest are yours to explore freely.
Then sleep. Deep, restorative, jungle sleep. And begin again.
Every guest at The Reset receives three private one-hour integrative wellness coaching sessions with Daphne, held before, during and after the retreat.
Before you arrive, you and Daphne will connect to get clear on your intentions, what you are bringing to this week, and what you most want to shift. During the retreat, a mid-week session creates space to integrate what is unfolding and tend to whatever is rising in you. After you return home, a final session anchors everything you experienced and helps you design the practices, habits and next steps that will carry this transformation forward into your real life.
Most retreats end when you leave. This one doesn't.
This is not a check-in call. It is a dedicated hour held entirely for you, to be seen, supported and guided by someone who has devoted her life to this work. Many guests find these sessions as transformative as the retreat itself.

The Reset is not a pause from your life. It is a profound return to yourself.
You will leave with a morning practice that anchors you, a breathing practice that steadies you when life gets loud, and a body that has remembered what it feels like to truly rest. Practices that become habits. Habits that change everything.
You will leave with friendships that were forged in something honest and real. And with something that is difficult to put into words, a softness, a clarity, a sense of coming home to yourself that you will carry long after the jungle fades and ordinary life resumes.
You came to reset. You leave transformed.

Daphne Lyon has been teaching yoga since 2011 and has spent the last decade and a half traveling the world in devoted pursuit of the practices that genuinely change lives. She completed both of her yoga teacher trainings in Nosara, her first at Nosara Yoga Institute in 2011 and her second in the Jivamukti tradition at Blue Spirit, before going on to study with meditation masters, breathwork guides and healing teachers across continents. A former Peace Corps volunteer and lifelong world traveler, Daphne brings a depth of lived experience to her teaching that goes far beyond the mat.
She grew up taking yoga and meditation classes in her parents' yoga studio, the practices were woven into her life from the beginning. As a teenager navigating anxiety in middle and high school, they became her rock. Not a trend or a wellness hobby, but a genuine lifeline. That personal knowing of what these practices can do in the darkest and most ordinary moments of a human life is at the heart of everything she teaches.
Daphne is an integrative wellbeing coach, life coach, and habit and behavior design guide, and her mission is to share the practices that transform our inner world so that we can create the outer world we wish to see. She has led retreats across Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, New York and beyond, and there is nothing she loves more than gathering people together in community to share in this one precious life.
Her approach to the body goes beyond yoga. As a trained bodyworker, she weaves her knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine meridians, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and human anatomy. Daphne brings a rare understanding of how the body holds tension, emotion and history, and how movement, breath and touch can unlock what words alone cannot reach. This informs everything she teaches, from the way she sequences a yoga class to the hands-on assists that make each session feel deeply personal.
She is based in the Philadelphia, Princeton and New York area, and has been traveling to Nosara for sixteen years. She knows this land, this community and this ocean with a rare depth of love and familiarity. Her teaching is warm, rigorous and deeply human, equal parts science and soul, challenge and tenderness. She will hold this week with care, humor and an unwavering belief in what becomes possible when we finally give ourselves permission to rest.
Each morning begins with meditation at 6:30am followed by yoga from 7:00 to 8:30am, then a nourishing breakfast and free time to surf, explore or rest. Afternoons alternate between Yoga Nidra and Integrated Breathwork from 2:00 to 3:00pm, leaving the rest of the day and most evenings completely yours. Three evenings are shared as a group, a welcome dinner, a midweek pasta night, and a farewell dinner at La Luna. The retreat is designed with spaciousness in mind. Rest is part of the practice.
Seven nights accommodation at Norte Nosara, daily breakfast and lunch at Copal, morning meditation and yoga daily, alternating afternoon Yoga Nidra and Integrated Breathwork, three group dinners, a welcome drink on arrival, and three private 60-minute one-on-one sessions with Daphne in coaching, breathwork, Yoga Nidra or Reiki, tailored to what you most need. All prices include Costa Rica's 13% government tax.
