A Seven Day Retreat for the Whole Body, Breath and Mind

Limited to 11 guests

You know that feeling of being completely at home in yourself - clear, alive, unhurried, deeply well? This retreat exists to bring you back there.

made for you

The Reset is a seven day retreat in Nosara, Costa Rica designed for anyone who has been running on empty for too long. If you have been craving space to breathe, to slow down, to remember what your body feels like when it isn't carrying everything - this is for you. With just 11 guests, The Reset is designed to feel intimate, personal and completely held.

Set against the backdrop of one of the world's five Blue Zones, nestled in the lush jungle of Guiones Beach, each day is thoughtfully crafted to gently unwind what stress and busyness have accumulated, and to rebuild something more sustainable in its place.

The Daily Flow

A Space to Come Home to Yourself

Morning opens with meditation followed by an hour and a half of yoga - strong, intentional and deeply mindful, designed for longevity and the health of your body over a lifetime. Personal hands-on assists make each class feel like a mini retreat within the retreat. You will leave the mat feeling both worked and restored.

Then breakfast at Copal, unhurried and nourishing, before the morning opens into whatever calls you. Guiones Beach is one of the best surf beaches in the world and one of the most beginner friendly - surf lessons are available throughout the week for all levels. Or explore, wander, rest. January in Nosara is magic and there is no wrong way to spend a morning here.

Lunch at Copal, then the afternoon practice. Each afternoon alternates between Yoga Nidra and Integrated Breathwork, two of the most powerful tools available for deep restoration and lasting change.

As the day softens, the beach calls again. Three evenings are shared together as a group: a welcome dinner, a midweek pasta night at Copal, and a farewell dinner at La Luna. The rest are yours to explore freely.

Then sleep. Deep, restorative, jungle sleep. And begin again.

The Practices

Morning Meditation A guided practice of arriving, quieting the mind, connecting with your intention, and accessing the clarity that becomes your compass for the day.

Yoga Strong, challenging and deeply mindful. Each class is thoughtfully sequenced and infuses Jivamukti methodology, whole body movement, resistance stretching, myofascial release, restorative postures, inversions, and core work, all woven together with good music and a deeply restorative Savasana. Personal hands-on assists draw from Daphne's background as a bodyworker and her knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine meridians, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and body anatomy, making each class feel like a mini retreat within the retreat.

Yoga Nidra Practiced in the threshold between waking and sleep, Yoga Nidra speaks directly to the subconscious, releasing what no longer serves you, rewiring old patterns, and restoring the body at a cellular level.

Integrated Breathwork A combination of the Oxygen Advantage method and Conscious Connected Breathing, training the body to breathe efficiently, move through stored emotions, and access a clarity most of us have forgotten is available.

Taking It Home Each practice is taught with your daily life in mind. Daphne is a life coach and habit and behavior design guide, you will leave with a simple, sustainable practice that fits your real life. The goal is not a temporary reset. It is a permanent shift.

WHAT AWAITS YOU

This Retreat Is Yours, Fully and Completely

integrative WELLNESS COACHING

Every guest at The Reset receives three private one-hour integrative wellness coaching sessions with Daphne, held before, during and after the retreat.

Before you arrive, you and Daphne will connect to get clear on your intentions, what you are bringing to this week, and what you most want to shift. During the retreat, a mid-week session creates space to integrate what is unfolding and tend to whatever is rising in you. After you return home, a final session anchors everything you experienced and helps you design the practices, habits and next steps that will carry this transformation forward into your real life.

Most retreats end when you leave. This one doesn't.

This is not a check-in call. It is a dedicated hour held entirely for you, to be seen, supported and guided by someone who has devoted her life to this work. Many guests find these sessions as transformative as the retreat itself.

What You Will Take Home

The Reset is not a pause from your life. It is a profound return to yourself.
You will leave with a morning practice that anchors you, a breathing practice that steadies you when life gets loud, and a body that has remembered what it feels like to truly rest. Practices that become habits. Habits that change everything.
You will leave with friendships that were forged in something honest and real. And with something that is difficult to put into words, a softness, a clarity, a sense of coming home to yourself that you will carry long after the jungle fades and ordinary life resumes.

You came to reset. You leave transformed.

There are places in the world that do something to you the moment you arrive. Nosara is one of them.

Nestled within a protected wildlife reserve on Costa Rica's Pacific coast and recognized as one of the world's five Blue Zones, regions where people live measurably longer, healthier and happier lives. Nosara has a quality that is difficult to name and impossible to forget. The jungle is alive here. The ocean is generous and consistent, drawing surfers and seekers from every corner of the world. The community is vibrant, creative and deeply intentional about how it lives. The food is extraordinary. The sunsets are unreasonable.

Guiones Beach is widely regarded as one of the best surf beaches in the world with long, consistent waves with a gentle shore break that welcomes complete beginners while offering enough challenge for experienced surfers. It is also simply one of the most beautiful stretches of coastline you will ever stand on.
More people return to Nosara than anywhere else in Costa Rica. Once you go, you understand why.

Daphne has been coming here for almost twenty years. She lived here after college and completed both of her yoga teacher trainings on this soil, her first at Nosara Yoga Institute in 2011 and her second in the Jivamukti tradition at Blue Spirit. She has surfed this ocean in every season, knows its rhythms like an old friend, and has watched this community grow into something truly rare. When she thinks about where in the world to bring people for a week of genuine transformation, there is only ever one answer.

Nosara

Your home for the week is Norte Nosara, a boutique yoga and surf hotel nestled in the heart of Guiones Beach, surrounded by jungle and a short walk from the ocean. Norte is one of the most beloved retreat spaces in Costa Rica, offering a world-class open-air shala, a beautiful waterfall pool, and Copal, an exceptional on-site restaurant serving fresh, locally inspired food daily. It is a place that feels like arriving somewhere you already belong. Find out more at nortenosara.com

Norte

The closest international airport is Liberia, Costa Rica (LIR), approximately a 2.5 to 3 hour drive from Nosara. Direct flights to Liberia are available from Houston, Miami, Dallas, Los Angeles, Denver, Newark, Atlanta, and Chicago.

Traveling from Europe? You will likely connect through Miami, Houston or another major US hub into Liberia. January is high season so booking flights early is strongly recommended.

Once you land in Liberia, Norte Nosara coordinates private shuttles directly to the property at approximately $45 per person one way. Once you have booked your flights, simply share your details with Daphne's Retreat Team and we will coordinate your shuttle with Norte directly so you arrive with ease.

There is also a small regional airport in Nosara itself, domestic flights from San José and Liberia take just 15 to 30 minutes and are a beautiful way to arrive. Sansa Air and Carmona Air both service this route.

Getting to Nosara

About daphne

Daphne Lyon has been teaching yoga since 2011 and has spent the last decade and a half traveling the world in devoted pursuit of the practices that genuinely change lives. She completed both of her yoga teacher trainings in Nosara, her first at Nosara Yoga Institute in 2011 and her second in the Jivamukti tradition at Blue Spirit, before going on to study with meditation masters, breathwork guides and healing teachers across continents. A former Peace Corps volunteer and lifelong world traveler, Daphne brings a depth of lived experience to her teaching that goes far beyond the mat.

She grew up taking yoga and meditation classes in her parents' yoga studio, the practices were woven into her life from the beginning. As a teenager navigating anxiety in middle and high school, they became her rock. Not a trend or a wellness hobby, but a genuine lifeline. That personal knowing of what these practices can do in the darkest and most ordinary moments of a human life is at the heart of everything she teaches.

Daphne is an integrative wellbeing coach, life coach, and habit and behavior design guide, and her mission is to share the practices that transform our inner world so that we can create the outer world we wish to see. She has led retreats across Costa Rica, the Dominican Republic, New York and beyond, and there is nothing she loves more than gathering people together in community to share in this one precious life.

Her approach to the body goes beyond yoga. As a trained bodyworker, she weaves her knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine meridians, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and human anatomy. Daphne brings a rare understanding of how the body holds tension, emotion and history, and how movement, breath and touch can unlock what words alone cannot reach. This informs everything she teaches, from the way she sequences a yoga class to the hands-on assists that make each session feel deeply personal.

She is based in the Philadelphia, Princeton and New York area, and has been traveling to Nosara for sixteen years. She knows this land, this community and this ocean with a rare depth of love and familiarity. Her teaching is warm, rigorous and deeply human, equal parts science and soul, challenge and tenderness. She will hold this week with care, humor and an unwavering belief in what becomes possible when we finally give ourselves permission to rest.
